 A new report says Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will update laptops with newer Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) processors.

Last time MacBook Air was updated was in June 2013.

There is a possibility Apple will refresh the lineup of laptops with more speed and more storage. Thanks to the current offerings from Intel chips, it is most likely the refresh will be small.

Apple’s competition to shift

• Kuo added that in five to ten years, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s main competition shifted from the tech gadget sector to the fashion brand sector. 
• Whether this continues on the successful path or not basically depends on a few key factors. These factors include replacement demand for larger smartphones, whether or not new iPad tablet upgrades will continue in momentum, how a low-priced iMac could increase the overall number of shipments, the App Store availability of iTV, and if the 12-inch MacBook Air will transform the entire laptop experience.

The Worlds First Airborne Wind Turbine featured with WiFi Hotspot

• In the future we may have giant zeppelin style wind turbines floating above. It’s good because the winds are stronger at higher altitudes and also these wind turbines won’t be as much in the way as regular ones, it’s also a WiFi- hotspot!
• The MIT startup Altaeros Energies has been given a $1.3 million grant by the Alaska Energy Authority to test the design over the course of 18 months. 
• The turbine, known as BAT-Buoyant Airborne Turbine, will be filled with Helium and allowed to go up 1,000-2,000 feet where it’ll be able to generate twice as much power as a ground-based structure. 
• While it’s up there, it’ll also serve as a WiFi hotspot, providing not only power but Internet connectivity to the families currently living off the grid in these remote areas.
• The helium-filled turbine will be installed over the city of Fairbanks, Alaska, and will feed energy into the grid through cables that will connect it to the ground.
